The world of digital accessibility is replete with the language of compliance, inclusive design, clean code and screen readers. It can be easy to forget what really lies beneath our work in accessibility. Why do we do what we do? How do we get people on board with the need for creating accessible course content?
Digital Accessibility can seem like a monumental task to undertake, especially without additional resources or funding. Join us to learn how you can implement incremental and sustainable practices in your own organization. We’ll also share access to accessibility training for Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
All participants will be entered into a drawing to win a copy of “Accessibility for Everyone” by Laura Kalbag. “Accessibility for Everyone” helps you understand disability and impairment challenges, important laws and guidelines, and how to plan for, evaluate, and test accessible design.
